Walk In Ready: The Audition Workshop

The Workshop Beyond: Masterclass Series · Rachel Wresh

The audition is its own skill, and it is rarely taught. Presented by our founder, Rachel Wresh, students learn how to choose their material, walk into the room with confidence, and leave a lasting impression, with the chance to volunteer for a mock audition and receive personal feedback in real time as time allows.

Sing Smart: A Vocal Health Seminar

The Workshop Beyond: Masterclass Series · Guest, Dr. Adam Lloyd

Young performers spend years using their voices before anyone teaches them how the instrument works. With guest speaker Dr. Adam Lloyd, SLP-D, CCC-SLP, of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, students get a clinician's look at vocal anatomy, how to warm up and cool down, and the everyday habits that keep a young voice healthy for a lifetime of singing. The evening closes with an open Q&A.

Open Mic & Costume Contest

Our spookiest, silliest night of the season. Come in costume for a Halloween open mic and a costume contest for all ages. A festive, family-friendly night open to the whole community, with performances, prizes, and plenty of Halloween fun.

Think On Your Feet: Improv & Acting

Some of the best acting happens in the moment. In this playful, hands-on session presented by our founder, Rachel Wresh, students explore the fundamentals of acting and improv through exercises and games that build confidence and quick thinking.

Musical Theatre Masterclass

The Workshop Beyond: Masterclass Series · Guest, Ryan Townsend

Hitting the notes is only the beginning. Students work on musical theatre vocal technique and learn what turns a good performance into an unforgettable one: telling the story, connecting with an audience, and bringing a song to life. With guest artist Ryan Townsend, Instructor and Coordinator of Musical Theatre Voice at Florida Atlantic University.

Jingle All the Way: Holiday Sing-Along

Miami-Dade Public Library System · Coconut Grove Branch Library

Bring the whole family for an hour of holiday music-making with Rachel Wresh of The Wresh Workshop. We'll sing favorite songs from across the season, from Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls to Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah. We'll share a holiday story, play singing games, and add jingle bells to the chorus. You'll even learn to sing a round in parts. Held at the Coconut Grove Branch Library, 2875 McFarlane Rd, Miami, FL 33133.
