Mommy & Me: Music Enrichment

The first introduction to music.

A gentle first experience of music, shared side by side with a caregiver the child already trusts. Together we sing, play simple instruments, move to the music, and explore through imaginative play, building early coordination, listening, and confidence from the very first class.

The Workshop Collective: Group Classes

Group Class · Singing · Acting · Ages 4 – 12

A tiered journey taken in succession, guiding students from their first creative sparks toward genuine artistry. Every level grows the same craft: age-appropriate repertoire, general music knowledge, plus voice and stage training transferable across all genres. Students are invited into the creative process itself, contributing repertoire selections, shaping the artistic theme, and helping craft the production they bring to the stage in The Workshop Collective Concert, our end-of-semester variety show.

Ages 4 – 6

Our youngest students fall in love with performing and begin learning like real artists from day one. Through singing, creative acting, and movement, they build coordination, focus, and the poise to stand in front of a room, taught with the same care and structure we bring to every age.

As students grow, the craft grows with them. Real vocal technique, acting, and ensemble work come together, and just as importantly, so does character: the ability to listen, support the group, and carry themselves with confidence, on stage and off.

By this level, technique deepens and acting becomes true storytelling. Students take real creative ownership, curating repertoire and shaping the artistic direction of the production they perform, so everything the earlier years built comes together in work that is truly their own.

The Workshop Beyond is our masterclass series for the serious and advancing student. Across the semester, our founder and visiting guest artists lead focused sessions on the skills that take an artist from good to professional: audition technique, repertoire, stage presence, and the craft behind a standout performance.

Most singers don't encounter audition training, vocal health, or serious artistic development until upper-level college, and sometimes not until graduate school. Our hope is to give young students the chance to build those skills long before they walk into their first college or professional audition. Open to students from any school or studio, not only our own.

My student doesn't have any performance experience — is there a class for them?
Yes! We pride ourselves on offering high-level training to students of all levels. Depending on your child's age, one of our Workshop Collective group classes would be a perfect starting point to build foundational skills. Private lessons are also an excellent way for your child to receive the dedicated one-on-one attention they may need to feel confident on stage. Have more questions? Send us a message via email.
My child is already performing in shows. Can they still take lessons with you?
Absolutely. Many of our students are already performing, whether with local theater companies, children's theaters, or their school programs. The Wresh Workshop is where they receive the one-on-one training behind those roles: healthy technique, audition preparation, and the poise to walk into any rehearsal or audition room in Miami and truly belong there. Outside productions build a love of performing. Individual, professional training is what helps a student not just keep up, but thrive. Can my child try one class without committing to the whole semester?
Yes, absolutely. When registering, you can choose to register for the full semester or register per class. That means you can sign up for just one class and see if it's a good fit before making a longer commitment. Not sure which option makes sense for you? Email us and we'll help you decide.
My child wants to take lessons but doesn't want to perform — is that okay?
Yes, absolutely. While we highly encourage students to perform, it is not a requirement. Performance opportunities at The Wresh Workshop are invitations, not requirements — we never push a student onto the stage if they aren't ready. That said, we believe meaningful performance opportunities are a cornerstone of a young artist's development. As confidence grows, most students discover there's so much they can gain from sharing what they've worked on. Wherever your child is on that journey, we'll meet them there.
Is vocal training safe for my young child?
Yes. We adjust each class to be developmentally appropriate for the age group. For example, Tiny Voices focuses on play, exploration, and building a love for music through age-appropriate songs, rhythm, and creative movement — not on technical vocal demands. As students grow into Rising Voices and Vocal Academy, vocal technique is introduced gradually and carefully. At The Wresh Workshop, your child will never be pushed beyond what is healthy for them. In fact, healthy and age-appropriate technique is one of the cornerstones of what we teach.
Do you have an adult student community?
Yes, absolutely. Adult students are welcome at The Wresh Workshop, and Rachel has trained singers and pianists from teenagers all the way through retirees pursuing music as a lifelong passion. Adults are also highly encouraged to participate in The Workshop Social, our open mic night. Curious about adult lessons? Tell Rachel about your student and she'll point you to the right fit.
What should I expect or prepare for my first day?
Students need only to come ready to learn. Each student is met where they are. At the beginning of each new class or lesson, we'll spend time getting to know your goals so that we can best shape and support you along your journey. You're not required to bring anything, but we suggest a water bottle.
As a parent or guardian, can I sit in on the class?
We love building community, but our policies vary by session type to ensure the best learning environment. For all classes, guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up. For our Workshop Collective group classes and Private Lessons, we ask that parents sit out to allow students and teachers to maintain full focus and productivity. For our Mommy & Me classes, registered caregivers are required to participate. In The Workshop Beyond: Masterclass Series, guardians of registered students are welcome to attend, and for The Workshop Social: Open Mic, family and friends are highly encouraged to join us!
What are your payment options?
All payments are made securely online via Stripe and are due at the time of registration. To help make our classes more accessible, you can pay in full or in 4 monthly installments. If you choose installments, the first payment is made at registration and the remaining three follow about a month apart. Full pricing for every class is on our Rates page.
What if my child is sick on a class day?
Please keep your child home if they are showing signs of contagious illness (such as fever, persistent cough, or runny nose) within the previous 24 hours. Keeping our youngest performers and their classmates well is something we take seriously, and we'd much rather welcome your little one back next week feeling their best. Families are granted two (2) emergency reschedules per semester at the school's discretion, so no one is asked to choose between a healthy class and a missed lesson. Questions? Email Rachel any time.
I have an emergency — can I cancel my class for credit or a refund?
To respect our instructors' time and professional scheduling, we require at least 24 hours' written notice for cancellations to be eligible for a make-up. However, we understand that life happens — each student is granted two (2) pardons per semester at the discretion of the school for emergency-related cancellations. Our Fall 2026 semester runs September 8 – December 19, and registration is open now. Spots fill quickly, so register here to claim your student's place. Questions first? Email us and we'll help you choose the right class.
How do I register?
